Updated...

For anyone keeping tabs on the 356 Restoration, I have uploaded new photos. This is my brother's project, if you have any questions or just want to comment, please do so. I am sure he would love to find other 356 lovers out there...

I'll be interested in how the car looks as your brother progresses; I have coffee with a fellow who just finished restoring a 1965 Barracuda and is now working on a Manta Ray (Chrysler?).

The small village (inside the big city) in which I live holds classic car nights during the summer and Barry said the two gems would be completely ready to show off this coming May or June. Sometimes a few bikes show up and my 1984 Virago usually outshines them all.

re motorcycling; I mentioned Twin Falls in one of today's posts, in an excerpt from a book I'm reading. The writer and bike rider rode into Twin Falls from Boise. Maybe the scene he describes will sound familiar; I didn't mention he spotted a golf course shortly after crossing the bridge.

Are you near Snake River Canyon, site of Evel Knievel's failed attempt to fly? I'll mention a funny conversation the writer had with an old woman at a museum (re Evel) in a future post.

cheers, gah
