We finally hit the hills...short trip, but not short on fun. Did some good hiking and playing of pinochle. It was Rogue Bear's first camp trip. Enjoyed watching him explore all the new smells. The fire restrictions are in full effect, so the girls roasted marshmallows on the camp stove. As we were breaking down camp, the Sheriff informed us that there was a fire nearby and we had better start heading out. You bet we hurried! Wanted to see those fine firemen in action! Oh yes...firemen...mmmmm...
